Biographies of Nominees
Godwin James
Godwin James is a passionate and goal-oriented architectural professional from Union Island recognized for his creativity, technical proficiency, and artistic vision. He holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture (DIA) from Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Germany and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Architectural Studies from the University of Technology, Jamaica.
Godwin has gained valuable experience through his work with Mayer’s Architects, the Housing & Land Development Corporation (HLDC), and Argo Development Studio, where he has served as an Architectural Assistant and Project/Site Architect. His expertise includes 2D and 3D design, technical drawing, drafting, 3D rendering, and the use of advanced software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Known for his strong work ethic, leadership, and adaptability, Godwin combines creative artistry with technical precision, striving to design innovative, sustainable, and functional architectural solutions.
Leshante Cato
Leshante Cato is a civil engineer with expertise in structural design, quantity surveying, and project management. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Drexel University and is currently an Assistant Estimating Engineer at BSI Construction, where she manages structural plans, site visits, and bid coordination.
Leshante has led university projects ranging from product design to mixed-use apartment proposals, combining technical skills with collaborative problem-solving. Recognized for her academic excellence, she is proficient in TinkerCad, Python, MATLAB, Microsoft Office, and structural planning software, and is passionate about delivering innovative engineering solutions.
Zeron Samuel
Zeron Samuel is a CAD Technician and Architectural Designer from St. Vincent and the Grenadines. He is deeply passionate about architecture, particularly residential design. Through the use of various design software, he creates spaces that are comfortable, functional, and impactful for those who inhabit them. Zeron draws inspiration from the world around him, continuously expanding his creative vision as he travels and experiences different cultures across the globe.
